Quantum
in Financial Services
Timelines, bottlenecks, and the investable layers of the quantum stack: grounded in the financial industry.
7 October 2026 · Singapore · By invitation only
Quantum computing attracts significant capital and equally significant scepticism. Which use cases hold up, and what remains unsolved? Join us for an evening as we frame both questions through the financial industry, grounding an unfamiliar technology in a familiar sector, and map where the investable layers of the stack actually sit.
Join us in Singapore on 7 October.
Quantum, framed through financial services
WHY AND WHY NOW
Singapore is not waiting.
Four developments have moved quantum in financial services from a research topic to a planning item. All four in this region.
Regulators have set a deadline.
MAS will issue supervisory expectations later in 2026 on migration to quantum-resilient cryptography, targeting sector-wide resilience before the end of the decade. (MAS Annual Report FY2025/26 media conference, July 2026)
Asia is now the largest public funder.
APAC accounts for roughly €18.8bn, or 43%, of identified global government quantum funding. (Quantum Business Network, June 2026)
Singapore has raised its own commitment.
RIE2030 allocates S$37bn through 2030 with quantum a named priority, a 32% increase on the prior plan. (The Straits Times via The Quantum Insider, Feb 2026)
Singapore is already testing, not theorising.
MAS completed a quantum key distribution sandbox with DBS, HSBC, OCBC, UOB, SPTel and SpeQtral. (MAS media release, 2025)
What quantum can actually do in finance today.
FIRESIDE CONVERSATION
A conversation with Tobias Denzler, author of QAI Ventures' white paper Quantum in Finance, on which use cases are supported by evidence, which are still marketing, and what a realistic adoption timeline looks like for a financial institution.

Topics
A breakdown of quantum computing
An overview of constraints and opportunity
This session seeks to lay the groundwork for the evening on what the different modes of quantum computing are being explored, and the constraints each of them must first solve to become viable.
Quantum in Finance: What’s here, and what’s possible
The near-term applications of quantum in finance.
Ground the timeline debate in credibly-evidence near-term use cases in financial services. A walkthrough and conversation with the author of QAI Ventures’ white paper Quantum in Finance, Tobias Denzler, on where the industry believes quantum can add the most value.
Where Value Accrues
Mapping the full stack and the nodes that require capital.
With an understand of the current constraints of quantum computers and what their potential may be, this session shifts the discussion to what investors can do now to unlock these bottlenecks and generate value. This discussion will combine many different perspectives of where future capital may flow.

FEATURED INSIGHT
White Paper:
Quantum in Finance
Finance is emerging as one of the first industries where quantum technologies are beginning to create real-world impact. This white paper explores why quantum has become a strategic imperative for financial institutions, where the most promising applications are emerging, and what organizations should do today to prepare for the opportunities and risks ahead.
This is a working conversation, not a keynote evening. Capacity is limited so the discussion stays useful. Confirm your seat below.
