The European Center for Quantum Sciences  (CESQ) and QAI Ventures are pleased to invite PhD students and postdoctoral researchers from universities in the Upper Rhine region (France, Germany, and Switzerland) to participate in the Quantum Entrepreneur Workshop from 15 to 17 April 2026 at CESQ (Cronenbourg campus), Strasbourg.

The program will begin with an informal get together and dinner on 15 April, followed by full workshop sessions on 15 and 17 April 2026.

Participants will be able to reserve accommodation though the registration form in a student residence at an advantageous price. The travel and accommodation should be supported by the students institutions (including for UpQuantVal partners). Food will be provided free of charge during the event.

The program addresses pathways from academic research to application and technology transfer, combining CESQ’s interdisciplinary research environment with QAI Ventures’ expertise in intellectual property, early-stage venture development, and quantum deep-tech commercialization.

Working in small teams, participants will develop early-stage business cases based either on their own research or on real quantum technology patents provided by QAI Ventures and its partners. They will also prepare a first pitch and present it to a jury for feedback.
