About Julie

Julie Cohen (she/her) is the founder and CEO of Across the Pond, the independent global creativity company helping technology and innovation businesses make the complex human.

Cohen launched Across the Pond in 2008 with a brief from founding client Google to harness the power of the emerging medium of online video content. The agency has since created thousands of impactful, award-winning projects for clients, including Google, YouTube, DeepMind, Expedia, Amazon, and Coinbase

As an expat who left the US to live in Paris and now London, Julie is passionate about understanding cultural differences and human interactions. This focus lies at the heart of both Across the Pond and her personal life.

As one of the 0.1% of female-led creative agencies, Cohen is committed to creating a positive impact. Across the Pond is a B Corp-certified company offering a DEI-focused, psychologically safe workplace where top talent thrives.

Before founding Across the Pond, Julie produced European entertainment content for American television and corporate clients. Originally a Philadelphia native, Julie left Paris for London in 2006, where she now lives with her partner and their blended family of seven.
